WAK – WeAreKitesurfing operates a kitesurfing school located in Limassol, Cyprus.
Our goal is to provide safe, enjoyable, and professional kitesurfing lessons and experiences for riders of all levels.

2. Booking and Payment

Bookings can be made via our website, by email, by card, or directly at our kitesurfing center.

• A deposit may be required to secure your booking.

• Full payment must be completed before the lesson or rental session begins.

• All prices are listed in euros (€) and include applicable VAT (19%).

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations by You

• Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session may be eligible for rescheduling or a refund (minus any processing fees).

• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session are non-refundable.

Cancellations by Us (Weather or Safety Reasons)

Kitesurfing is highly dependent on weather and wind conditions.

• If a lesson or rental is cancelled by us due to unsuitable or unsafe conditions, you will be offered:

  • A rescheduled session, or

  • Credit for future use

  • We reserve the absolute right to refuse, cancel, or terminate any lesson without refund if we reasonably believe that a student or client is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other substance that may impair judgment, coordination, or safety.

No cash refunds are issued for weather-related cancellations.

4. Safety and Liability

• All participants must follow the instructor’s safety instructions at all times.

• Participants must be in good physical health and able to swim.

• Participation is entirely at your own risk.

WAK – WeAreKitesurfing shall not be held liable for injuries, accidents, or loss or damage to personal property occurring during lessons or rentals, except where proven negligence on our part exists.

We strongly recommend that all participants hold valid personal travel or sports insurance covering water sports, including kitesurfing.

5. Equipment Use

• All equipment provided (kites, boards, harnesses, wetsuits, safety gear, etc.) must be used responsibly and only for its intended purpose.

• Equipment must be returned in good condition.

Any damage, loss, or excessive wear caused by misuse or negligence may result in repair or replacement charges.

6. Photos and Media

During lessons, events, or activities, photos and videos may be taken for promotional purposes.

By participating, you grant WAK – WeAreKitesurfing permission to use such photos or videos on our website, social media platforms, and marketing materials, unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing prior to the activity.

7. Website Use & Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, videos, and branding, is the property of WAK – WeAreKitesurfing and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

We respect your privacy and comply with applicable EU GDPR regulations.

• Personal data is collected only for booking management, payment processing, and communication purposes.

• We do not sell or share personal data with third parties, except when legally required.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.

Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Limassol, Cyprus.

10. Waiver Form

By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions in full, as well as the IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) Waiver Form.

11. Updates to These Terms

WAK – WeAreKitesurfing reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Any changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
